# P4U2R Labrys Guide

## Foreword

Welcome to my Labrys guide, I hope you enjoy your stay!

The aim of this guide is to help Labrys players of all skill levels enjoy the game as much as possible, while providing the information you need to get the most out of the character. Whether you're completely new to Labrys or a veteran looking to refine your game, there's definitely something here for you.

If you're new to P4U2R, I recommend spending some time familiarising yourself with the game before diving too deeply into the guide. A little knowledge of the game's basic mechanics will go a long way towards understanding what I'll be discussing. At the very least, I'd recommend completing the game's tutorial and Labrys' combo challenges, as they're a great way to get started.

This guide uses standard fighting game terminology and notation, which may not be familiar to everyone. I'll explain or link to some of the more niche terms where appropriate, but if you come across something that's unfamiliar, don't be afraid to look it up! There are plenty of resources available, as well as an active community that can help if you're still stuck after doing some research of your own.

Moves and combos will be written in standard numpad notation, which is described in [Dustloop's notation guide](https://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php/Notation).

This guide also assumes that you are familiar with the basic mechanics of P4U2R. If you're not, or if you're looking for information on other aspects of the game such as character information or frame data, please refer to the [Dustloop wiki for P4U2R](https://dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=P4U2R). You may also wish to refer to the[ fighting game glossary](https://glossary.infil.net/index.html) for any unfamiliar terms.

## Disclaimer

This guide contains my thoughts, opinions, and recommendations, and should not be taken as absolute truth. Different approaches may work better for different players, and you may find that your own experience leads you to play Labrys differently from what is suggested here. Ultimately, how you choose to play the game is up to you.

This guide is a living document, and not a definitive or fully optimised resource. New routes, techniques, and strategies continue to be discovered, and there may be times when this guide does not reflect the latest developments. I will do my best to keep the information accurate and up to date where possible.

If you have any questions, suggestions, corrections, or additions, I'd be happy to hear them! Feel free to reach out in the Labrys section of the Persona Fight Club Discord.
