Being persona broken

With the changes to how personas work, and the improvements to Labrys' projectile options, persona breaks are much more likely than they used to be. Labrys is especially susceptible to this since she only has 3 cards.

That being said, being persona broken as Labrys isn't the end of the world, the biggest problems you'll notice are:

  • Loss of access to burst

  • No supers or persona normals/specials

However, your neutral game will remain mostly untouched, which is very important. People will usually expect a persona-broken player to start playing passively and assume that it is always their turn. Make sure to remind opponents that this is not the case, which you can do with a well placed 2B or j.B.

Key adjustments you'll need to make are:

  • Instead of j.B > j.C > 214B, use j.B > 214A, which will work unless the opponent is too high

  • Most times 5D is used, charge 5B can be used instead, but never twice in a combo

  • Use meter for OMC and guard cancel/roll instead of supers

Also - the fact that Labrys only has 3 cards that a persona break on her won't last long, so you may even regain your persona mid-combo! Keep an eye out for when it's back.
